In August of 2021, after a 3-year journey, my beloved husband, Brad, died. I was by his side every step of the way, and by his side when he died.

Caring Hearts Support Network was born of this experience.

My experience in hospice, palliative care (Advanced Fundamentals of Palliative Care), and the funeral industry, as well as, my formal education in Death, Dying, Grief, and Bereavement (King's College, UWO), helped to prepare me for the journey we took together.

Recently, I have had the privilege of completing End-of-Life Doula Training with Henry Fersko-Weiss, the creator of the first end-of-life doula program in the United States.

Fear takes hold when you or your loved one is faced with a terminal illness. Fear of the unknown, fear of having a voice in your care, and fear of leaving your family.

It is my honour to share all that I have learned from my training over the past 10+ years and my lived experience.

I want you to live until you die, and my wish is that I can provide you with a little peace heading into your final journey.
